In Europe, people with higher level of education and bigger income on average tend to be healthier than those with lower education and/or income level. Thus, only 55% of people with low education level (ISCED 0-2) perceive their health status as “good” and “very good”. At the same time, 81% of the population with high education level (ISCED 5-6) has good and very good health. The same picture is for income: the share of healthy people grows by almost 20% with the increase of income level from 1st to the 5th quintile.
