Activity Rates of Morocco The activity rate shows the share of people active in the total population. It is calculated by dividing the number of active than the total population.    

The closing of the national accounts for the third quarter of 2022 showed a marked slowdown in the growth of the national economy, standing at 1.6%. Non-agricultural activities posted an increase of 3.6% and those of the agricultural sector a decrease of 15.1%. Driven by domestic demand, this growth was achieved in a context of high inflation and an aggravation of the national economy's need for financing.

The unemployment rate expresses the share of unemployed in the labor force aged 15 and over. This rate is obtained by the ratio of the number of unemployed to that of workers aged 15 years and older
