National Atomic Energy Commission, Argentina

The National Atomic Energy Commission (CNEA) is an autarkic body dependent on the Nation's Secretariat of Energy. Its powers and functions are mainly established in the National Nuclear Activity Law (Law No. 24,804). The CNEA has its headquarters in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires and has a presence in different regions of the country. Along with other organizations and technology companies, it is part of the Argentine nuclear sector.
