Program Overview:The Common Core of Data (CCD) nonfiscal surveys consist of data submitted annually to the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) by state education agencies (SEAs) in the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the four US Island Areas (American Samoa, Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, and the US Virgin Islands), the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA), and the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE). In order to provide data comparable across states, NCES and representatives of SEAs have worked since the 1950s to develop and accept common data items and definitions. SEAs report school-, agency-, and state-level education data for the CCD through the US Department of Education's EDFacts collection system. CCD survey staff edits the data to produce the final data file, which NCES uses to construct general-purpose publications and specialized reports. The principal users of CCD nonfiscal data are the federal government; the education research community; state and local government officials, including school boards and LEA administrators; and the general public.   Guidelines for Missing, Not Applicable, and Suppression Code Values: For Numeric Data: -1 denotes missing, not available, or not reported data items. -2 denotes "not applicable" data items. -9 indicates suppressed data because it failed the multi-year edit.

We define our day as midnight-to-midnight, Pacific time. Cities represent usage in greater metropolitan areas and are stably defined during this period. In many countries/regions and cities, relative volume has increased since January 13th, consistent with normal, seasonal usage of Apple Maps. Day of week effects are important to normalize as you use this data. Data that is sent from users’ devices to the Maps service is associated with random, rotating identifiers so Apple doesn’t have a profile of your movements and searches. Apple Maps has no demographic information about our users, so we can’t make any statements about the representativeness of our usage against the overall population. This information will be available for a limited time during the COVID‑19 pandemic.

(CDC ID's: s5s8-d82d ,4y34-2pku) NNDSS - Table II. Babesiosis to Campylobacteriosis - 2016. In this Table, provisional* cases of selected notifiable diseases (1,000 cases reported during the preceding year), and selected low frequency diseases are displayed. The Table includes total number of cases reported in the United States, by region and by states, in accordance with the current method of displaying MMWR data. Data on United States exclude counts from US territories. Note: These are provisional cases of selected national notifiable diseases, from the National Notifiable Diseases Surveillance System (NNDSS). NNDSS data reported by the 50 states, New York City, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. territories are collated and published weekly as numbered tables printed in the back of the Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR). Cases reported by state health departments to CDC for weekly publication are provisional because of ongoing revision of information and delayed reporting. Case counts in this table are presented as they were published in the MMWR issues. Therefore, numbers listed in later MMWR weeks may reflect changes made to these counts as additional information becomes available. Footnotes: C.N.M.I.: Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands. U: Unavailable. -: No reported cases. N: Not reportable. NN: Not Nationally Notifiable. NP: Nationally notifiable but not published. Cum: Cumulative year-to-date counts. Med: Median. Max: Maximum. * Case counts for reporting years 2015 and 2016 are provisional and subject to change. For further information on interpretation of these data, see http://wwwn.cdc.gov/nndss/document/ProvisionalNationaNotifiableDiseasesSurveillanceData20100927.pdf. Data for TB are displayed in Table IV, which appears quarterly. Three low incidence conditions, rubella, rubella congenital, and tetanus, are in Table II to facilitate case count verification with reporting jurisdictions.

Postharvest loss profiles (PHL profiles) quantify the expected loss – as a percentage – at each point along the postharvest chain. This loss data is collected by reviewing scientific literature and is broken down by crop, type of farm and climate type (based on the Köppen-Geiger climate classification). These profiles provide percentage loss figures for the various crops throughout the value chain under varying conditions and are updated as new research becomes available."   For complete reference information and definitions, Please visit: https://www.aphlis.net/en/page/20/data-tables#/datatables?year=20&tab=references&metric=prc

This dataset provides data on literacy rates, primary and secondary school attendance rates access to improved water and sanitation, household access to electricity, and household ownership of radio and television. Unlike other datasets, notably the World Bank’s World Development Indicators (WDI), this dataset provides data at the subnational level, specifically the first administrative district level. Furthermore, the data is comparable both within and across countries. This subnational level of data allows for assessment of education and household characteristics at a more relevant level for allocation of resources and targeting development interventions.
